Description
In autumn the leaves change colour and nature offers us a beautiful spectacle. A firework of colours in red, yellow, orange and purple makes us experience autumn as a spectacular season again and again.
The researcher Isaac Newton divided the rainbow colour gradient into units.
In this way Newton’s colour circle was created. This consists of the colours of the rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. In the rainbow project I searched for these colours in nature and worked out abstractedly with the medium encaustic. Colour pigmented wax and resins are melted and applied in layers on top of each other. This project consists of 30 pictures.
