Description
In summer it is time to harvest the golden wheat. The ripe ears of wheat sway back and forth in the wind and are illuminated by the sun.
The researcher Isaac Newton divided the rainbow colour gradient into units.
In this way Newton’s colour circle was created. This consists of the colours of the rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. In the rainbow project I searched for these colours in nature and worked out abstractedly with the medium encaustic. Colour pigmented wax and resins are melted and applied in layers on top of each other. This project consists of 30 pictures.
