Description
On the escape from everyday life and pure into the dancing sun; To the golden shores of the Mediterranean, into the turquoise waves, into another world. How wonderful it would be if every day was a vacation in summer?
The researcher Isaac Newton divided the rainbow colour gradient into units.
In this way Newton’s colour circle was created. This consists of the colours of the rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. In the rainbow project I searched for these colours in nature and worked out abstractedly with the medium encaustic. Colour pigmented wax and resins are melted and applied in layers on top of each other. This project consists of 30 pictures.
