Description
The scent of freshly mown grass and the lush green provided the idea for this picture. While mowing it is whirled through the air and lies in small heaps on the lawn. The grass sections prodcuce this wonderful scent of freshness and nature.
The researcher Isaac Newton divided the rainbow colour gradient into units. In this way Newton’s colour circle was created. This consists of the colours of the rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. In the rainbow project I searched for these colours in nature and worked out abstractedly with the medium encaustic. Colour pigmented wax and resins are melted and applied in layers on top of each other. This project consists of 30 pictures.
