For the piece of comedy theater “Whiskey and Sugar” I got to design the sets in the background. The image is based on one the pictures of the series “motion”. As quality is of high importance in the creative industries, it was out of question that a Theater image would be of similar standard, yet better. Thus, in order to suit the set dimensions of 3x5m, the picture was taken with a special lens by Thomas Zarges, in his studio Nordblick in Hamburg.Challenge is to retain the metallic colors on the large-area substrate.

The wonderfully black comedy “Whiskey and Sugar” is the exciting and very funny duel over the interpretation of a life – two women fighting for the love of a woman – the mother and artist whose ashes cannot defend itself. “Whiskey and Sugar” by Mike Sage is a German premiere with Marion Elskis and Heike Falkenberg in the lead roles. Director: Hartmut Uhlemann.

PREMIERE

Since 2004 I show my artwork in various national and international exhibitions. SU-ART goes ASIA! This summer we are going to travel the world again and it will be slightly more exotic than Monaco in 2015. The Museum of Contempary Art Beijing (MoCA Beijing) set out to unite artists from across the globe and I am honoured to partake in their upcoming occasion from August 7 to September 16, 2016.

This year’s event is called „Multiculturalism“,  and I look forward to interact with contemporary artists and share perspectives and ideas on the future of modern art.

Yesterday at 18:00 the AAF in Milan started. Hundreds of visitors used the opportunity to be the first to see the artworks of more than 80 galleries and artists. The audience in Milan was very interested and intensive discussions were held at the exhibition stands.

My artwork will be shown on booth B2 at Galerie Böhner, Mannheim.

Saturday 13th of March marked the opening of the exhibition “Beach Life” in the wonderful beach hotel Bene. The hotel has a marvellous location at the beach on the island Fehmarn. This hotel, surrounded by the Baltic sea not only offers a scenic coastline; it is a superb place to unwind and spoil oneself. Many thanks to hotel director Lea Haltermann for letting me present my art work to their guests. “It has been a great pleasure for me to produce these pieces specifically for their premises.” The exhibition is open daily, also for visitors not residing in Hotel Bene. The exhibition lasts for an indefinite amount of time.
