Characteristic for Susan Siegs acrylic paintings are the extraordinary structures and special effects. For this purpose the artist usually applies bright and colourful colours in several layers with a spatula. With great pleasure in experimenting she also uses materials such as mortar and granules – thus creating rough surfaces and lively looking forms.
